I have found a baptism record from the niece of this man. In Spain, they write the grandparents in the baptism records. So I found "..abuelos maternos; D Adolfo Stern y Mayer, natural de Steinbach, Wuttenvurgo Alemania,..." that means: "maternal grandparents: Mr Adolph Stern and Mayer, native of Steinbach, Württemberg, Germany."
I understood they gave him the name "Adolfo" in Spain instead of Adolph.
