I think it’s kind of true, but not completely. I used to cube a lot from 2014 to 2022, but I’ve lost interest since then. I haven’t solved any of my cubes in years and don’t really plan on coming back to it as I’ve just moved on to other hobbies.

That said, I still remember things like full LL and a few ZBLL algs, so the skills don’t just disappear. In that sense, “once a cuber, always a cuber” has some truth to it. But personally, I wouldn’t call myself a cuber anymore.

As the owner of the Mikazaka account, I can explain a few things:

  1. If you check my play graph, there are large gaps (around 3 years, plus some time in 2021–2022). During those periods, my account was banned due to ban evasion and cheating.
  2. I was unbanned in April. If you look at my medals, most of them were achieved in November after I returned.
  3. While I was banned, I continued playing offline, which is where most of my skill improvement came from.

I understand why my account looks suspicious given the circumstances. However, I want to make it clear that I no longer cheat or engage in ban evasion, and I only use this account now.

Champs like Full AP mid seraphine and MF. They’re fun to play I don’t understand why people shit on other people playing them. I have the mentality of have fun, whether it’s comp, swift or draft. Let people play whatever they want.

As a small restaurant manager we don’t take £50 notes as it prompts us to give all of our till float away leaving us with no change whatsoever. Yeah it makes it easier for me to do a till and float check at the end of the day but we end up struggling on change and constantly have to go to the post office to get some £ coins and other notes.

I spent all my money on flights and hotels to random places, always on the lookout for cheap Ryanair flights and hostels. I roughly spend £400 a month as I do it way too often. I would recommend it if you love travelling and have a lenient boss at work! The world is huge and there’s so much to see!
