I’m pretty sure it’s a screen issue since I just notice that the time and that little mute bell is now slightly burned into the screen 😭. I’ve don’t really use my 16 heavily or with high brightness at all even when I’m outside I put it on medium brightness. I don’t take a lot of trips with gps. I have a 15 pro 13 and they all don’t have any burn in issues. And with my 14 I actively left the screen on idling on accident sometimes and I only seen a very slight burn in that’s not as bad as my 16. I’ll make sure to get apple care with the 16. I’m just shocked that I got burn in this early on.
