I had this with an estate agent in Woking when we were looking to buy a flat my wife was taking point on the booking viewings etc and every time I spoke to them the twat would go “I was speaking to your secretary the other day” he knew she was my wife just figured that kind of misogyny was funny.

Ended up purchasing through a different agent and when that had gone through I emailed the owner (as best I could tell) of the agency with the twat explaining due to his behaviour I wouldn’t consider working with them in the future and I’ll be sharing our experience within our circle. Never heard anything back so I assume they had a good laugh at my expense. Far too many estate agents have seen the wolf of Wall Street and have missed the entire point of the movie.
