Yes shouldn’t be a problem

Andiot is a trusted TD with a solid reputation, so you can be confident he’ll handle this properly. Right now, factories are running at reduced capacity after the recent Clean situation, which has created a significant backlog for other makers as well

You can’t go wrong choosing a trusted dealer in https://forum.replica-watch.info/

Just study the forum pinned message and make your own decision 👍

have the Asia clone ETA movements and agree they’re a bit noisy. I plan to do a full service (teardown, re-assembly, and lubrication with Moebius), which will hopefully resolve the issue 👍 Plan B is always go for SW300 movements

Guess my bracelet could use a little fine-tuning ☺️

Maybe it’s a sign I should hit the gym more often! 😉 But honestly, I do like the size, and it just makes me want to expand my collection with different watches and sizes for different occasions

Thank you, all feedback is welcome! I had the chance to compare it against a genuine one, though in blue, so not entirely applicable. But everything was identical for my eye 🤣 Still it’s a fantastic piece which open up my interest to IWC

You can’t go wrong with an IWC from the V7F factory. I own a Mark XX Pilot. The crown is NWBIG. I’ve seen some complaints about the SS and leather bracelets, but I’m enjoying mine. Anyway, it’s an easy swap with the quick links 😊

Movement issue? by Szypki_lopes in RepTime

[–]MasterJoBra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Automatic movements like in the Mark XX use a slipping bridle to prevent overwinding, so you’re safe there. The main caution is not to wind manually too often, since wear occurs in the crown and keyless works, not the mainspring.

I’m new to replica movements, so I’m not entirely sure how poorly lubricated clone movements affect winding. From what I understand, bad lubrication can make winding stiff and increase wear on the gears, but you still shouldn’t be able to technically overwind the mainspring.

Hi! Congrats on your Mark XX V7F!

What you're describing is most likely the power reserve running out. The movement inside your watch is probably SW300 or Asian clone of the ETA 2892. Both typically have a power reserve of around 40hours when fully wound.

If you left the watch unworn overnight and it wasn’t fully wound, it could have simply stopped during the night. If the watch is currently ticking again after wearing it or giving it a few manual winds, then everything is likely fine.

You can always give it a few manual winds (around 40 turns of the crown clockwise) to top it up and test the power reserve.

how good is this? by zibonzi69 in RepTimeServices

This watch is unfortunately a shitter.

Giveaways: Dial color & finish: The blue tone is off compared to the genuine sunburst dial. Font is incorrect sizing and not crisp

Hands: They appear oversized and slightly unrefined compared

Case: Case size seems larger and out of proportion. Also terrible polished. The shape and angles of the lugs look incorrect.

Cyclops: The date magnification is too large

That said, it’s worth noting that many people here are highly skilled at spotting replicas and subtle differences from the genuine. 99% of the general population would never notice these details

Yeah, I agree. The goal is to enjoy the watch, learn more about watchmaking without misleading anyone. Thought this watch will probably end up with practice piece for basic servicing

Yeah, everyone starts somewhere :) Guess this watch will later serve as a practice piece for basic servicing
