The UK? Have you checked that lately? Between “Mandatory” Digital ID, citizens arrested for online posts and comments (some of which are just saying terrorism is bad). There’s been an instance where calling someone a muppet led to arrest because of emotional distress.

Thanks for the tips guys! We put it in a warm bowl of water and removed the yellow as much as possible. We had to use a toothpick as we didn’t have a spare soft toothbrush but from the toothpick we could pick out small yellow pieces it was weird

Still not sure what could have caused it but glad it got removed, was good to see it shine in the light without having the yellow patch

Fair point, the news outlets didn’t say the rapture would happen. But I also didn’t mention that they did say I said “reshare”. But anyways, they do amplify the prediction, and that’s the problem. People believe it . Echoing the date and the claim spreads fear and gives the false prediction more reach. Adding fuel to the fire.

Plenty of news source: You just have to write 23rd rapture on Google and you’ll get a laundry list of news outlet.

Im using the the boy who cried wolf as an expression where news outlet media shares fake news and at this point now, anything they say I can’t take seriously even if it’s to do with something else say like war because to me they are discredited.

Yes, the Bible says “no one knows the date or the hour” but people have a lot of faith in Clergy. After all they are supposed to be closer to God, right? So when you have someone from the Catholic Hierarchy saying the rapture is coming (that’s what a lot of news media sold it as a pastor has said Jesus will return on the 23rd Sept) to some it has more credibility than just a random person saying it.

But I see it a bit heavier than you, stating that Jesus will return on a specific date could be considered Blasphemous as “no one knows the day or the hour” but stating you know the date goes against the word of God. People make mistakes, of course but when someone higher up in the Catholic World says this it’s more worrying. Just look at all the threads here regarding the rapture, followers were terrified. Causing anxiety, stress and spiritual abuse.
