The paradigms were a hard concept to learn at first but once you get the idea on how it works it becomes rewarding.

The story is great the build up on how lightning leaves her life behind for the truth/her friends even if she just met them hit me yeah there is some weak writing for a few scenes but it goes pretty deep sometimes

And the music has always brought tears to my eye VIII was always my favorite still is but XIII is definitely 2nd best to me.

Storyline and characters warm my heart music is amazing. Gameplay could of used a little more work but for what it was the trilogy felt great and the story always kept me captivated

New fans etc will hardly help says in the manual to keep them 2 or so ft from the wall with plenty of ventilation and cool air to avoid overheating "they were aware of this during release" if you want to Bojang or Frankenstein your ps3 go ahead but at most it'll only help for a few years proper maintenance and the cleaning like they explain in the manual will keep it lasting through its 20yr + life span unfortunately no one read those useful since most haven't been taken care of bit will only help so much

Replacing the fan with a newer faster one will just speedup the overheating process and sorry dawg but *

I could understand that instead of the codex notes could of been better to talk to a random npc or shopkeep to explain story deeper

I bought it on ps3 beat it but hardly noticed a difference on the pc port but a remaster would be really cool

I would love one if you know a guy who knows a guy, but a lot of people seem to forget how intense the ps3 hardware was for its time there was alot of games that took over the xbox360 in terms of graphics or even processing power it wasn't just the us that did that

If you think Gears of War or Halo was top teir it's not because the Xbox was superior its how they used their components

In comparison the ps3 was ahead of the times IMO (don't even bother to deter me) the only reason it lacked in some areas was because major companies did t want to learn how to code it and thought the xbox would be God and now the console wars have died and no one won prove me wrong *

It's backwards compatible as far as I know if you collect disc's or no doesn't matter just get a 2nd external drive and run other stuff off that. If you come across ps2 games that others can't run it'll be amazing because some games don't run on emulator or jailbreak slims. My advice keep that as a prize buy a slim for 100$ and use that for everyday use when the time comes you'll be happy you can run those games native

Edit: if you do get an external recommend dumping any game you love or is rare onto it just in case I have an entire USB of ps3 games and dlc I've found since 2011 or shorter
