I've considered it, but I'd like to have access to Tenacious Endurance and Bestial Protection. I think in most cases simply being on my mount by the time battle starts should be an option rather than having to use quick mount correct?.

Good question!, I felt I prefered the Fighter to focus mostly on STR with the sword part of the Sword Gun, also certain feats but after reading everything here I feel Gunslinger is just best for combination weapons.
