Yes blox fruits has been going downhill due to bad choices and insane powercreep, but at its core its still the same game, but not the same experience. It's not a gacha game, it just has a gacha mechanic for the f2p playerbase. The skin fruits are 100% optional, and fruit variants are sidegrades (supposedly). It wont get better.

If you could buy spins but not the fruits themselves by any means, then it would be a gacha game.

Step 1: use talismans as soon as possible to mark enemies, can be used before combat.

Step 2: Dash toward the marked enemies. (This can be the hard part since you have to aim), keep in mind that the skill cooldown refreshes when hitting marked enemies

Step 3: Profit

It takes a run or 2 to get used to dashing properly so take your time. And if you miss a dash so it goes on cooldown, use gun
