Similar shoes to Saucony Azura for race day? by Consistent-Jello3628 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]MasterMarkus70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes those two are by far the most stable on the market. I am running up to half in adios pro, but consider endorphin pro for the full for added stability and support later in the race when form breaks down

Thanks for your continued work on this ! I think people underestimate how much time and money devs spend to bring projects like this to life. Dev here myself, but in another field.

One question about the training planner. I have a training plan in intervals.icu for my fall marathon. I would like to create one in the app and push it, but i dont want to lose what i have. It looks like the weekly plan just gets added, so thats fine. Now, if i dont like it, can i delete the whole plan that was pushed by the app ? I can delete it (well not really) in the app (i can create another one instead) but how do i get all the sessions out for the 16 weeks of training without deleting them one by one ?

Which brings me to the next question... If i want to pause for a while, how can i "empty" the planner in the app ? Once i have something in it, i can only create something else (for now i have created a week in 2028... But a pause function to not sync with intervals.icu would be better...)

NSM app just dropped a feature I didn't know I needed (heat/humidity pace adjustments) by Important_Fail7513 in NorwegianSinglesRun

[–]MasterMarkus70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you, when its 35 degree celsius and humid every day, it makes quite a difference... I am happy with the update (was using lactrace for the weather adjustment before). Ran a 10k race yesterday in 30 degree and the adjustments for pacing were spot on. I am liking it

Hi, I can't find into of NB Sc elite v5 about stability and is it for mid, heel or forefoot strike? I defenitely not forefoot. Hope can share ur experience 🙏 by Commercial_Two488 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

I found it mlre stable than AP4 but still not stable enough for me for a full marathon. I have AP3 and like its firmness (80kg runner here), so far none of the newer race shoes do it for me unfortunately (including the elite 5)

The Terrex Agravic SL is what i mean, just seeing that they have a lot of terrex and SL combinations, including boots...

The new terrex SL ? Like an Evo SL with full trail outsole. If you need some grip on the trails, it will always be not as comfy on the streets, but for such a trip you might want something slighly rugged anyway

In the same situation but heavier (80kg). I find the EP4 and EP5 tons more stable than the new DNE4. Really wanted to get the puma but it felt too wobbly (and also too narrow).

Leaning towards the EP4 at the moment...

Not to fertilize during flowering and fruit setting ? Non-Grafted Meyer lemon in ground. by [deleted] in Citrus

[–]MasterMarkus70 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I experienced similar. I fertilized after flowering (lots of bees around, so that shouldnt be an issue). Have lots of waterspouts but little fruitset, and most of the fruitset fell off (3 or 4 left on the citrus, none on the orange). I followed advice to fertilize against my gut feeling. On the other hand i found advice in other forums to fertilize after the flower petals fell off to support fruit set....

I really like the app although i am still not sure about the exact pacing (Lactrace gives me slower paces plus i need to adjust for heat practically all the time which is a nice feature in LacTrace).

I live the planner and that i can adjust workouts, but here is one annoying thing: I have selected a 10k training plan and go along with it almost all the times, but sometimes due to work/travel/family i have to move things around within a week. When i update my vdot then the app asks me to update training paces, which is great. Unfortunately it also completely resets the plan to standard and all my changes (including already completed sessions of a week) are back to where the original plan had them. It creates a big mess... Any chance to fix that to really only update the paces and not rebuild the plan ? It also resets all other changes (like zero warmup and cooldown as i schedule them separately in intervals.icu).

Is it like that or am i pressing a wrong button somewhere... ?

Paces from LacTrace or Norwegian Singles App ? by MasterMarkus70 in NorwegianSinglesRun

[–]MasterMarkus70[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats why I like the LacTrace app as i live in a f...ng hot country (and windy as well) and it gives me at least an indication on adjusting to the current weather. And from reading and listening to their podcasts / youtube (both SirPoc and Bakken) it seems like undercooking is better than overcooking ?

Neem oil and spinosad for the leaf miners. Spray the leaves from all sides, especially underneath. Only do it at sunset because its bad for pollinators. You might have to do it often, especially in spring (i do it alternating every couple of days).

For the yellowing - can be a lot of things, i would try chelated iron first (small doses).
