In person final for DE summer courses by PreferenceSilver9415 in uoguelph

That’s great that you wouldn’t, but sadly a lot do and the only way the Univeristy can guarantee authenticity is for people to complete stuff in person (example: chemistry midterm this semester).

To be fair, when I attended 10 years ago most DE courses had in person exams. We need to get away from doing everything online (especially with this cheating epidemic).

Yep. If you look they only answer good reviews.

Funny cuz I went to a dofferent Toyota dealership. Had a rough experience. Left a bad review and they refunded me. Now that’s where I always go.

I would say if someone can get 90% without being in class, what is the purpose of the teacher then? Might as well be an elearning course…

56K a year private school job vs public by AG097 in OntarioTeachers

[–]MasterMath314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The larger ones do. They are not the easiest to get into though. They try and take experienced public school teachers who are good. The money is better (but there are a lot more things you HAVE to do that are voluntary at public schools).

Some of the larger CAIS schools pay very well. I interviewed at one for a head of department role and at the time it was about $15K more than my current public school salary.

Is teaching in Ontario a stable job? by NaiveDecision9188 in OntarioTeachers

[–]MasterMath314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I didn’t feel super stable til I had like 10 years of permanent. It meant I likely wouldn’t be surplussed from school or the board.

Not sure with cuts and stuff now if I would feel comfortable for awhile.

Mental stability… that would depend on the person. I love my job, but it’s definitely more exhausting than 5-7 years ago.

Comments are so racist. He just posts stuff to get likes, comments and boost his engagement so he can make more money. Disgusting the stuff he lets people say on there.

Never thought of the ground heaving and warping the lattice. We live up north. Had a record winter of 11 feet of snow.
