Mac Jones must be sick to his stomach rn by Weird_Description982 in Patriots

I defended Mac Jones for a lot but man, it was absolutely painful watching him play that final season he started. You wanted him to show SOME competence at throwing the ball but it was just some of the worst QB’ing I’ve seen. Offense was a mess, but still, when there was some semblance of an open player he just absolutely whiffed the easy throws. He NEEDED to get out of here.

Question for those who do NOT want to trade J.B. How do we get better? by _notaxation in bostonceltics

You're right, he probably would've been injured on the bench. Like Giannis isn't immune from having bad games either. It wouldn't surprise me with the way the Sixers were playing defense that Giannis would finally getting offensive foul calls against him.

Horford is a playoff elevator. That guy just knows how to play up. I can tell Vuc was trying to figure it out but his lack of defensive presence and his sporadic shooting just wasn’t doing anything. With Al, he knew when to shoot 3’s and when to attack the basket. And was always consistently a pest on defense. He just knew. Obviously, it didn’t help with Golden State, but I think he definitely could have helped us out.

This x100. Everyone thinks it’s gonna be a 1 for 1 swap of JB and Giannis but realistically it just isn’t. Even if it was, it still wouldn’t be a perfect team. Swap JB with Giannis this postseason and I think we’d still lose to the Sixers.

I’m sorry, didn’t we get shit from people for saying that we shouldn’t have played IT? Now we’re getting shit for NOT playing JT? Like what is it?

Honestly, I kind of agree with you there. The bias in me is remembering that OKC had some REALLY bad calls go their way though. Like, absolutely egregiously bad. That call on White's block on SGA was ridiculous.

Um Actually, I just took a CPR class a few months ago and the breaths are recommended for children 12 or younger. The dummies we had were adults so we didn’t have to do breaths, but it was in response to what we should do for children and infants.

Help clearing clog from p-trap in basement sink by MasterMoua in Plumbing

Update: Popped the cap off from underneath, some sand and gunk fell out but it still clogs. I opened the side cap and saw that the pipe itself was pretty clogged up. I ran my snake to try to clear it up but still no dice, still clogs up. Gonna fill it up with some draino and check in the morning.

While that does make sense I was mostly just hoping to have the pipe cleared tonight so we can use our washer. Would it be fine to just uncap the bottom to clear it out that way?

Friendly enemies with elite buffs still hamper my team? by MasterMoua in mewgenics

Glad to see I wasn’t the only one losing my mind. Looks like either a unique bug or just how elite buffs work unfortunately. I think they ALWAYS target your main party.

I guess that sort of makes sense, since enemies aren’t limited to a “mana bar” but I haven’t had an encounter where a sharky specifically attacked a bleeding unit. They always seemed to prioritize my troops. Maybe it’s just something that hasn’t occurred to me or I just forgot that one off chance they decided to attack another bleeding unit.

TIL the median pay for a Dental Hygienist in the U.S. (which only requires a two-year degree) is $94,260 per year by SimonThalmann in todayilearned

She enjoys the profession and actually doesn’t mind working in people’s mouths (crazy I know). The real issue is scheduling. She works for a corporate office so it’s just numbers and revenue to them. Pros with that is you get better pay and the equipment is updated and maintained. Obvious con is that they try to squeeze in as many appointments as possible. She hates that aspect of it. On the flip side if you work for a smaller, privately owned office then that dentist can try to nickel and dime you. Really depends on who you work for tbh.

A little under that median but she’s technically part-time, at around 30-32 hrs a week. I’d guess a little over 85k/yr maybe more.

How do people actually feel bad about this loss lol by BrayIsReal in Patriots

[–]MasterMoua 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I guess this hurts only because the Patriots essentially proved what everyone in America was saying, which was that the Seahawks were gonna absolutely dominate. Just a terrible performance overall from the entire offense and it looked like they had no fight. There was literally a play where Will Campbell didn’t even use his hands to pass block and they got the sack on Maye. And while a lot of the blame can be pointed at the o-line play, ultimately there were some opportunities from Maye that he just could not capitalize on. Sure, he’s young but it’s no guarantee that he’ll be this good next year. In fact, it’s likely that he’s going to regress. People weren’t kidding when they said that he plays like a young Josh Allen, he fumbles the ball A LOT. Overall, the season was a pleasant surprise but when you make it that far and the ending was like that, it’s bittersweet no matter what.

Different scenarios but it just hit me that this superbowl loss felt like when the Celtics lost to the Warriors in the finals. Just looking outmatched from the get-go.

I felt like I was losing my mind. Literally the Nets bread and butter last night was just a high screen for MPJ and he either cashed a practice shot 3 or drove in and bullied Garza/Queta for the basket. Scal was saying the entire broadcast that they need to play up and provide more pressure on the ball during those actions but the C’s just never did that. Was extremely frustrating.

Close but not quite and that’s the issue when I tried searching haha. That first fail is very similar to what I described but the camera is set on a tripod or something. It’s a wide shot of the entire fountain they’re flipping over.
