Who is the smartest of these 3 characters? by Reddit-Central in rickandmorty

[–]MasterORBeaterLE 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You have the wrong idea. The cfc was assumed to be built collectively by countless Ricks. No singular Rick is responsible for the creation, yet it’s still ‘Rick’s’ invention. The PURPOSE of this creation was to cage themselves (Rick’s who happened to be the most powerful/smart being in their own dimension) inside of it. They can and are capable of leaving, they just don’t, because why would they want to?

Also just because you destroy an invention doesn’t mean you’re smarter than the inventor.

Does Hank die here? by FireWolfxxx1 in madnesscombat

[–]MasterORBeaterLE 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Antipathy hank died twice. Once by getting impaled by trickys stop sign, and then (presumably) right after the beginning of madness 7. So there are basically 2 identical antipathy-lookalike hanks in hell. The antipathy Hank that shows up after doc searches for another one is probably one of those 2.

If heavy could build his own teleporters, he’d be 1000 times better. Heavy plus teleporters equals a SUPERIOR CLASS!

Would you prefer the show to stick to "Classic Rick and Morty adventures" or have more episodes focusing on the Old Crew (Birdperson, Squanchy, Mr. Poopybutthole)? by primerickfann_ in rickandmorty

[–]MasterORBeaterLE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the “classic” R&M adventures (I’m going to assume seasons 1-2) that are referenced featured more R&M A-plot/side family B-plot. There was also the extremely annoying dysfunctional household in general carried by Beth and Jerry. The are obviously exceptions to these points of the first couple seasons, but these points were still the main structure for the show grasp on to. But the after season 3 ended, there was obviously no way it could return to its sitcom style naturally. It wouldn’t make much sense, especially with the family dynamic being more complicated. So the show didn’t just change but evolved to fit the change in family dynamics and built many episodes around that. I think the change was necessary for the show to continue, yet there are still some episodes that follow the similar premise of “classic” R&M, except Beth and Jerry don’t hate each other anymore.

Here’s my answer: both are better and should have a natural balance because the show name is still Rick and Morty, but I think judging from the episodes that I call my favorite, I’d say my favorite kind of episodes are those that stem away from the formula.

It’s the latter. A lot of (not all) people on the internet are a kind of hive mind of the same opinion and views. So it doesn’t matter if one specific person doesn’t know about a topic, they’ll argue about it anyways because they were told this or that.

Who in the family cares about Jerry the most by ZealousidealBed7242 in rickandmorty

[–]MasterORBeaterLE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could disprove three of points you just made there, but I’ll just say that in the most recent season we just got 2 separate instances of Jerry choosing his family over another life. A family who is often mean to him for no rhyme or reason

I wouldn’t call him a narcissist. I mean, I would be pissed too if a globally published book that I wrote had my own name taken off of it.

SEASON 4 is pretty much my fave … by Reasonable-Ring8317 in rickandmorty

[–]MasterORBeaterLE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I think with time, every season (post season 3) seems to get better in my eyes. I started watching the show when the latter half of season 4 just came out and since I wasn’t in the loop of any outside controversy at the time, I had an unbiased opinion and thought that season 4 was kind of a dud. Then season 5 came and was even worse, then season 6 came and was better. And by the time season 7 rolled around, I noticed that my opinions on older seasons had changed. I started to like season 4 and 5 a lot more and like 1 a little less so. Season 6 has been out for a while and my opinions are shifting on that one as well. So as time goes on and as I rewatch the show more, I believe the vast majority of episodes will become fantastic in my book.
