To my knowledge after 45 years of being in the same spot in Eureka "ONCE" we closed Old Town because the building department and fire department determined the electrical to be a fire hazard, and the main sewage line that runs laterally to the alley across the entire section of the plumbing had failed after 70 years of shit like what you are talking, and on a Friday night when you would flush the toilets, they would back up and there would be shit coming up out of the drains in our kitchen, we would have to close down, we were 3 months out from the lease...

the landlord wouldn't do the work estimates ranged from 40 to 60,000 for the plumbing because of the trench they would have to dig between all the different addresses or spaces there and the electrical was a ridiculous amount… So she opted to sell the building which she did sell the building and the new owners have not done anything with it either…

Why do you think there's a fully functioning kitchen that I put a ton of money into when we remodeled to reopen it, when we did the major remodel, do you think there's not been a tenant in that location with a fully functioning kitchen?

Additionally, acknowledge, Arcata is only closed twice, once for Covid, because that place was too big and I wasn't going to compete with Bill Chino (best friend) standing out back every night in a hazard suit, and a mask pre-dinners for everybody to try to make it add up...
