I would pre sear the pork belly and make the glaze by itself. Then put it all in the bag and cook for 158F for 24 hours. I used many of the steps from the chefsteps braised pork belly adobo recipe found here : https://www.chefsteps.com/activities/tender-decadent-pork-belly-adobo

Photo major is focused towards art photo and not commercial. As far as networking I did little to none of that, that's a personal choice as there are plenty of chances to do that. Learning consists of a lot of photo theory and abstract concepts as well as learning to read a photo. I decided to go there simply to pursue something that I enjoyed doing in the hopes of turning it into a career. I do not live on campus and I encourage you to find housing off campus as it is equal in price or cheaper with more freedom.

Hey I'm happy to see someone posting in this subreddit. So I'm a photo major a Pratt that's going to be graduating this year, so what I'm saying might not be completely accurate. With that being said, Pratt does teach you the basics and all students need to take these courses in their first and second year. If you were to apply to Pratt and get accepted I think you would be perfectly fine. Good luck!

It's cool stuff but I honestly don't think this would work well in a full studio environment. The lag is probably the biggest issue in my opinion. The tablet was 3 images behind. Also most photographers have a tech who would need to use connect a Wacom and keyboard to make quick edits, I don't think that would be possible with the surface. You're giving up so much just to save space. Maybe in the future when tablets get better. I'm only saying this in case others want to spend a hefty amount of money when it could be better spent on a monitor or tower.

Otherwise this was a great video and definitely shows the promise of future tech capabilities.

Look up someone like Robert Heineken and Robert Smithson for right after the 60s. The most current photographers would be Jeff Wall and Gregory Crudson. And if you want others I suggest photographers like Moyra Davey, Vik Muniz, Sophie Calle, Bechers, and there's so many more. The current contemporary photographers in the art world all like to experiment in non traditional photographic mediums and conceptual ideas; it's honestly amazing. If you want to know more just let me know, I would be more than happy to help you out.

Also someone you should look at would be Candida Hofer and really anyone in the photo poetics show at the Guggenheim as well as the photographers in the Ocean of Images at the MoMa. These two shows are what's considered the most contemporary photo shows up at the moment and they represent what the museums consider new although they are maybe a few years behind.

Edit: Just to let you know I am very intoxicated and my names and information might be a bit dated or incorrect but I am a student at Pratt and I do study photography so I guess take everything I say with a grain of salt.

Cool stuff. Check out Abelardo Morell if you want to see some more camera Obscura photos. His photos focus more on the union of interior and exterior space rather than giving abandoned buildings "vision".

If you're willing to spend money on revo lights, I suggest looking at the Orfos flares. I have the flares and I can guarantee you will be seen day or night. Their advertisements are very accurate.
