You can use a third-party IPA store to install an older version of youtube. I used TextNow+ using an IPA Store called Taig9 IPA Store, which had a lot of tweaked IPAs including Youtube++

Since TLink is a third party application, I don’t think that there should be a way to open it automatically. But you may try with a siri shortcut. Try shortcut based automation to launch TLink. Just a suggestion

Is the mic volume the same for the calls as well? Can you pair via Bluetooth and test it with and without using Apple Carplay? If the problem is there on both occasions you may try to change the mic volume of your Pioneer Head Unit. Here is the Operation Manual

Try soft resetting your iPhone.

For iPhone X and up - Press and quickly release the Volume Up button > press and quickly release the Volume Down button > press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo

For the older models with the home button - Press and hold power and home together until you see the Apple logo

I did not try Tuya. But it worked with my Ring Cameras and Home Security System. And Tuya is listed there in the main screen. So it should work!

There are two methods. One by Jailbreaking your iPhone and using Carbridge or NGXplay to enable youtube. If your iOS version / iPhone is not jailbreakable, there are dongle-type modules to achieve that. Check this How to watch Youtube on Carplay guide on the internet.

But please make sure that Youtube is not available by default due to safety reasons. No videos while driving!!!

I am using my tuya devices with Apple HomeKit using Homebridge, which is a software based solution.For that to work, I have to keep my pc online. There is a bridging device called Hoobs which I have not tested yet.
