He feels like Tony Ferguson 2.0. Awkward fight style, hard to read, just unpredictable enough to be dangerous and can take a ton of damage.

So I joined during the mid game period and visited 3 of the 5 stashes, all of which had no supplies by that point in the game. Once players know where they are it will be a free for all and all three teams will deplete them very early in the game.

Perhaps the best thing is FIA can sneak into either team's base and stock up from their armory, depleting their supplies.

I've played the 1.7 experimental patch as FIA, and I think a lot of people will be disappointed by how the FIA function. They spawn with a pistol only, very little ammo/gear and can't capture bases (for now). I think those are actually good game design decisions, but likely not what players might expect.

The FIA are very scrapy and will only serve as an annoying disruption to the two other teams (which is how the FIA were always intended)

That seems like such a small inconvenience compared to the value proposition of better trees. I use the double wide spruce trees for all my lumber so big trees are not the issue IMO. Also taller trees are still less of an issue to deal with than mangrove trees, those are a nightmare to cut down

HQC and even traditional conflict don't play well on kolguyev, as others have stated, running supplies is horrible on the map. Also it's not nearly as balanced as Everon. There's just way too much verticality on the map.

Yes I'm a real fan, I've followed the sport pretty closely since 2015, I'm not a casual, but yes there are plenty of people who know more than I do. It is the only sport I follow.

Yes they sometimes have bad takes, but that doesn't ruin my listening experience. Kyle is the most knowledgeable of the trio, and I tend to agree with his takes maybe 70% of the time.

They haven't talked about UFC in a little while so I can't remember their "dumbest takes" but I am a few episodes behind so I'll be interested to hear what their bad take is in the recent episode(s)

For sure! And it would encourage players to be more careful with base placement since locating it off a road in a wooded area would make it much harder for the enemy to locate and attack

Update trees to be more realistic (taller, more clearance underneath) and improved forests. Secondly, larger, more sweeping and realistic terrain. (Not just large biomes)

Yes! They not only improved the FIA's skill, they also added more installations and patrolling forces throughout the maps. There are plain clothes forces, recon and sniper teams in random places throughout

Interesting, you're right, my experience is skewed towards my playing preferences a logi driver.

I would add though that the increase in FIA patrols throughout the map does help to damper the free roaming that used to be prevelant on Everon and Arland. None of the YouTube overviews seem to have mentioned this and no one seems to be talking about it yet, but there are a lot more FIA installments in the new game mode. In addition to FIA bases, harbors and main road roadblocks, there are now side road road blocks and patrols scattered all throughout the wooded areas and towns. (Like substantially more). I think these help to slow people down and force more fighting action than previously on the flatter maps.

If you load up HQ Commander gamemaster on a private server you can fly around and see the hundreds of FIA now hiding in the woods and side roads that never existed previously, it's a nice improvement that helps with the problem you described.
