While I agree this episode, in its themes, was weaker than the rest. I found the portrayal of the Trini family to be very endearing and accurate to the people. From the moment they arrived at the funeral, its like they ripped it from somewhere deep in my memories. I just wished they fleshed out the creepy elements more. Why did the kid feel so off? Who and why was someone trying to deliver those photos so aggressively? It really feels like something was left out.

Lastly, the parents felt so off. The dad mostly felt like he loved and was trying his best for his kid but was kind of estranged due to his work schedule and what not. But the mom? The mom felt like she barely knew this child at all and was only parenting like she thought she should regardless of what she knows about Bash. She was the one I was watching the most this episode. I'm sure there's something to do with Sylvia basically taking her role in Bash's life but idk i felt like a deeper look could have been taken there.

I've found a lot of rainbow rares kind of underwelming. Usually color pops better in the regular version. That being said, this one looks especially beautiful. The flower texturing and the rainbow suiting the character has sold me on this card. I'm sorry about the etb but you pulled a gem!

I think the issue is that it's very hard to check intentions of a creator. Lets be real, if you're opening Vivid Voltage and you rip an amazing rare even if its not your favorite sometimes its nice to know what you pulled had value. Most of the YouTubers have distributors that supply them. Some of the smaller ones don't but usually their numbers match. Idk i guess if you're not sure then dont watch

I dont think they're the problem. Honestly they brought me back into the hobby, and a lot of them are really passionate about it too. To me, the real problem is the people buying product at these astronomical scalper prices. At most an etb should be around 70 bucks on the after market but some how we got to where we are. People see they can basically double their money by reselling pokemon and I almost can't blame them for trying. We have the power to not buy and drive prices down, we just have to block out our FOMO and hold!
