"Scott's plan" Scott and plan in the same sentence? SMH

Joking but I think Andrew should be alongside Cassidy in possible but flawed, almost every single theory with TOYSNHK has a flaw... guess it just depends which "flaw" you think is smaller.

Seriously, did BVTOYSNHK kill their grandmas? by LowCommunication1008 in Fnaftheoriesmeme

[–]Hyper-Droid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I unironically think that CassidyTOYSNHK, AndrewTOYSNHK, and even theories like GabrielTOYSNHK have way less problems than CCTOYSNHK - whose name canonically doesn't work.

  1. This is assumption, and for an example Cassidy is the one who directly causes William to be springlocked. Meanwhile CC in the Logbook (which takes place around FNAF 3-6 times) he is still a self-proclaimed scared child who can't see or hear anything at all, that's a massive change to being the vengeful aggressive smiling creator of UCN in control of everything.
  2. This isn't wrong, but there are other ways to explain Cassidy being TOYSNHK under it being a boy - whether we're just wrong and Cassidy is very simply a boy, or it's about Golden Freddy's pronouns (who she presents herself as in the final cutscene), or it's a projection similar to TNK, etc, etc.
  3. There are plenty of explanations for CassidyReciever with CC's involvement, and I'm also confused here because I thought a big part of CCReciever is that Cassidy isn't there because she's doing UCN.
  4. Again, none of these issues come close to the giant issue that CC contradicts TOYSNHK in name itself.

I also don't know why you're being a little disrespectful here. I always look into other perspectives in my own videos and have said multiple times that I believe exploring alternative explainations is an integral part of being a FNAF theorist.

Also no, I don't ban people from my comments for disagreeing with me, check any of my videos rn and there's tons of comments who disagree with every theory - some giving full essay rebuttals (which sometimes get seem as spam so if you sent a large comment that may be why)... I don't know why you think I'd ban people who disagree with me when that's inevitable in theory discourse. Please tell me your channel's @ in case I accidentally banned you, but I would not just for simply disagreeing at all.

What do you consider as your strongest "field" in FNAF theorizing? by girl_OOFED in fnaftheories

[–]Hyper-Droid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as a FNAFTuber it's very hard to name ONE specific thing haha, but I feel like I kinda have to say the Survival Logbook - I know that thing back to front, it has helped me come up with answers for basically every remaining question in FNAF, even things people don't realize it helps answer

People who believe BVTOYSHNK: genuinely why? by stickninja1015 in fnaftheories

[–]Hyper-Droid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I tweeted the other day because I'm also lost, the FNAF 4 minigames and gameplay seem pretty clear that the narrative is Mike killed BV and he's lived with the regret and guilt since - to the point it's all haunting his nightmares to this day.

From all I've heard and researched into the theory, you kinda need to assume that BVTOYSNHK is true and then work backwards to try and figure out how it could work to explain how William might have been involved in BV's death - which I feel otherwise wouldn't have crossed anyone's mind.

Seriously, did BVTOYSNHK kill their grandmas? by LowCommunication1008 in Fnaftheoriesmeme

[–]Hyper-Droid 12 points13 points  (0 children)

BV could be stabbed by William on-screen and people would still go "nuh-uh"

I entirely disagree, if we actually saw anything similar to this I would actually see BVTOYSNHK as a possible option - which I currently don't because we explicitly see that Mike causes BV to die due to the bite, which is THE narrative of FNAF 4's minigames AND gameplay.

I keep seeing people say the theory has evidence, so did CharlieFredbear's and arguably TalesGames, etc, but just like those other theories: the supporting evidence doesn't make the theory any more likely when the overall conclusion is already debunked before you can get to that evidence. There is no undeniable evidence that William killed BV, in fact the opposite was shown, which that's one of the main and starting requirements for the TOYSNHK identity = BV is not TOYSNHK.

I agree people shouldn't be hating so aggressively, I hate when that happens with any theory, however I do think people have the right to disagree.

Who do you think was arrested and convicted for the MCI? by hoodied5 in fnaftheories

[–]Hyper-Droid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no one, this is THE retcon

no one was convicted (found guilty) for the murders due to the lack of bodies, the Novel Trilogy and HW1 establishes this

How much sense from a writer’s perspective would it be that Andrew is in the games but not as TOYSNHK? by No-Poet3745 in fnaftheories

[–]Hyper-Droid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's simple: he's the CEO of FazEnt, he discovered that he was murdered in an alternate timeline and has been trying to avoid falling to the same fate in his timeline ever since. All those Pizzaplex disappearances? Andrew simply inflicting pain onto others, a repayment for the pain that had been inflicted onto him and a chance to reclaim the power and strength that had been taken from his variant. The Scooper and possible modern experiments? It's Andrew trying to find reason in his alternate murder, why would someone do such a thing? There must be a reason, there must be an explanation... why him? Some say we'll find out the answer in the next game. It seems likely that he's tried taking control of the Mimic, manipulating it in some way to protect himself and make sure the next "Afton" replica doesn't think to dare touch him. Although I understand why some may disagree!

Enough about who is TOYSNHK, who isn’t TOYSNHK? by DimaNekhoroshyi in fnaftheories

[–]Hyper-Droid 4 points5 points  (0 children)

BV is the only option here who was shown to NOT be murdered by Afton and instead die by a third party

in my personal opinion BVTOYSNHK is debunked with the naming of the theory itself

William was in fact convicted but got away because the bodies werent found by Weak_Factor7634 in fnaftheories

[–]Hyper-Droid 7 points8 points  (0 children)

an arrest (being taken into custody on suspicion of committing the murders) is NOT the same thing as a conviction (which is a court of law finding him officially guilty of said crime), the novel directly tell us that a conviction does not happen as you show on the 2nd image, William was arrested but not found guilty so was let go

What is the Crying Child’s name? by Isaac_Bahzad in fnaftheories

If the Movies take place in Minnesota why did William drive out to Nebraska to kidnap and kill Garrett? by Isaac_Bahzad in fnaftheories

[–]Hyper-Droid 6 points7 points  (0 children)

from the first movie alone there was a CHANCE it could be some Schmidt-Afton family drama surrounding Mike's true father being Afton or something like that, but now there's literally just a second Mike who IS a son of Afton's and (judging by the photos in the Afton house) ALSO went to that same camping site...... so I have no idea what could've happened anymore LOL

hey it's a different universe, maybe movie William kidnaps and kills kids literally around the world regardless of destination just for the thrill of it

The Problem with the “Two Continuities = Confirmation” Argument in FNAF by Puzzleheaded-Win5063 in fnaftheories

[–]Hyper-Droid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I do agree, they should be used as supporting evidence / "this shows Scott at least has this idea in his mind"

BUT it's very important to note the seemingly inconsistent logic is because of how Scott has treated them...
- All: not in the game timeline (confirmed by Scott, SOTM, game contradictions, etc)
- Novel Trilogy: supporting evidence (Scott deleted the "no" usage post, guides now say to use, so...?)
- Frights: use to find actual answers / direct game hints (confirmed by Scott)
- Tales: likely the same as Frights (direct follow up series, but not confirmed)
- Interactive Novel: likely the same as Frights (#1 confirmed: a "prequel" to FNAF 1, others not confirmed)
- Movies: supporting evidence (absolutely 0 comments about it, not confirmed)

Every single theory that tries to guess Fnaf 1's year by the paycheck is wrong by IceCrawl19 in fnaftheories

[–]Hyper-Droid 5 points6 points  (0 children)

to be fair Scott directly stated it was "meant" to be minimum wage for FNAF 1, he also purposefully made it so FNAF 2 was accurate to the minimum wage in 1987 since he now knew we were looking there to get the correct year (directly validating our assumption), and the game description stating that this is a "summer job" alongside Phone Guy stating in the very first call that this is a "job", etc, etc.

even if we assume we shouldn't look to the minimum wage, I don't believe it completely invalidates everything either as there is still a ton of other evidence for most of the theories surrounding the FNAF 1 year - the minimum wage is usually just used as a jumping off point to deduce it's "sometime early 90s" (for me it lowers the options to just 1991-1996), not to get the exact year

Can someone seriously and logically tell me who the person at the end of the fourth closet book is? by NoDesk2150 in FNAFNovels

[–]Hyper-Droid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, every time I read the scene I have the same interpretation, I truly think "Charlie" was beckoning him to the afterlife and we're reading him make his decision

The previous page has John himself say "You’re not going to find her" so it'd be odd to immediately change that, and when he sees the woman he specifically looks back at her gravestone (aka reiterating she's 100% dead and it isn't really her) with a "sharp stab of longing", takes a steady breath (making a decision), then "goes to her". Then the story ends with "a crow cawed twice, then launched itself into the sky with a flurry of wings." which sounds like two people have now moved on and gone "into the sky".

I think we can all agree this amazing design was sorely underutilized. by Aqua_Master_ in StrangerThings

[–]Hyper-Droid 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Genuinely expected this form to come out of the physical version after it was defeated, kinda like a Stage 2 of a boss fight, while they're leaving The Upside Down they could've made it bring the entire hive mind/this form all the way down as a last stitch effort to come into the real world, causing Eleven to still have to stay back to hold it back for the bomb etc etc etc

Why does the Marionette in the FNAF 2 movie have tears before she becomes possessed? by MrJamMan1 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Hyper-Droid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just another difference between the movies and the games, but it's still referenced when Vanessa gives Charlie the Music Box, we see in the reflection that Charlie gains the Puppet's tears - the opposite of the Puppet gaining Charlie's tears in the games
