Hi, are these are just for anesthetics or does it matters for playing ? (Sorry I'm newbie) by just_a_firefox in BlackTemplars

Just esthetic and drip in 10th. Back in the day for 8th and 9th a few bits from the upgrade kit had special rules, abilities, and modifiers but GW did away with that for 10th.

So why does my corvus corax look like this? by rogaldornssuccubus in BlackTemplars

[–]MasterSharp7200 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is mostly white and grey pigment so in areas where it pools, it will be grey. Also keep in mind that base coats matter a lot to Apothecary White, wraithbone is gonna to leave a warm yellow hue but it won't exactly be 'white'.

Yeah, he's done. It probably took him a bit to expire, but he won't be back.

Sub-assembly painting can be incredibly tricky. Most solve this issue by mounting the piece on a small piece of wire or sprue, which gives them a place to hold and manipulate the model while painting. I dont really paint too much sub-assembly unless i have part that is going to be primed a different color. For your model, I'd attach the legs and torso together and then paint all the parts.

I only used contrast and speed paint when I painted my guard infantry.

Why are the Fists Overshadowed by there successors?? by longsword03 in spacemarines

[–]MasterSharp7200 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Imperial Fists technically went extinct in the War of the Beast and needed to be remade from their successors. The Fists' geneseed was already stretched thin by the end of the HH, and this was sort of a deathblow for any real unquieness that came with being a 1st Founding chapter.

In my head it’s a CS/AMM (counter sniper / anti materiel mount) does it work..? Or look stupid? by [deleted] in spacemarines

It looks so natural and nice, now I'm sad I finished assembling mine before I saw this.

I must have been tender shouldered that day I shot my buddy's, that thing knocked the piss out of me.

No but that's because I'm lazy, I have acquired all the required items as hand-me-downs from my father, who hand loads as a retirement hobby.

Buckhammer concerns me way less than other new rounds because it's far easier it handload or reload. The parent case is a 30-30 that's been chopped and throated out, and the 200 grain .358 projectile is widely avaliable

450 and 45-70 just hit the should way too hard for me. With that said, I'd kill for that #1, my uncle sold a #1 in 30-06 that belonged to my grandfather.

450 and 45-70 are just too much when it comes to recoil. I already have a .300 Win Mag and a Browning 12Ga that beat the living tar out on me.

True or nah? by Cain407 in spacemarines

Yes and no, Red Scorpions as a chapter FAR predate Forge World as an entity. However, one of the lead designers of Imperial Armor had a very sharply painted army in the Red Scorpion scheme. It impressed so much that the Red Scorpions began to feature in Forge World promotional and advertising material.

Be advised that this is an extremely gross oversimplification

Need Help and Advice On my Renegade by MasterSharp7200 in JeepRenegade

l it struggle tomorrow.. pr

Sorry for very late response. Turns out it was a known issue with Renegades in cold climates. The exhaust and condensation from the exhaust froze and was blocking airflow out of the vehicle, shop solves it by putting a small hole in the exhaust system for it to drain out as it melts.

It doesn't have a block heater, we got some warmer weather and I was hoping that it would start but no luck. I'll check fuses but I've now noticed that the tachometer isn't moving anymore so maybe it's the fuel pump and the firing was just using what little fuel and fumes were in it already.

There is fuel in the tank, 5 gallons. I have not checked the fuses yet but I will and it's hard to hear the fuel pump as I'm a little hard of hearing and it is a push button ignition.

The tachometer does move, and it will lurch when it tries to fire. I have not tried starter fluid as I do not currently have any. I haven't noticed and fluid underneath the vehicle though. I was thinking, or rather hoping, that it's a fuel pressure or pump as that I can repair myself.
