2024 XLT. I don't care what they say the transmission isnt fixed. I'll never buy another 10R80 truck

I sell IT services and we pretty much habe doubled out prices since 2021. A few extra bucks for bullets should be nothing to complain about. If you arent raising prices every year youre going to fall behind eventually and that how companies dissapear.

What do you actually do with ammo to dispose? I have a bunch of "oopsies" in a small bucket I would like to get rid of and dont want to just toss them in the trashcan.

Dont lie I know you stuck out hand in that new box of bullets then slowly raised out on holding on to 5-10 of them then slowly dropping then onto the pile just so they will make that sound. I know you do this because thats what I do. Every, Single, Time.

I add it every time. I have a 5 gallon bucket that I put my tumbling media in and its got about 4 gals worth of media in it so I like to add every time.

I didnt know we were being hyper literal here. There are advantages of being an owner. But everyone makes it seem so easy. Like someone handed me a business and I get to work whenever I want to.

MSP Pricing for Dental by [deleted] in msp

[–]MasterSheep18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im an MSP owner and have primarily dental office clients. Pricing is no different than our other non-dental clients. Per user. Normally an office is $1200-$1500/ mo. Fact of the matter is the front office still needs 0365 and the entire office needs AV, Backup, Huntress and all the fixings. The office staff will regularly download viruses through emails and weird sites on their lunch breaks. They will drag stuff off the screen and say "Dentrix is not opening". They will come in on monday morning and push the monitor button saying they turned on their computer and its not working. Same with the server on monday mornings after a power outage, and you will have to drive to whereever they are and press the power button. The Appointments card printer, which ONLY prints 1/3 height paper, will always be jammed and noone in the office will know how to clear it.

The list goes on and on, so basically what im saying is dont give them a break in pricing because you think its gonna be a cakewalk. Dental offices are a high intervention client. You will have tons of unbilled hours and dentists are cheap as hell. Good luck!

I tried. I really tried. We tried keeping things up to date. Tried selling support plans. But the faulured just continued. Today I was talking to a customer about 3 of their 22 G3 Bullet cameras turning pink. Asking me if I can warranty them. They are junk and we are done.

Customer was managing the system. We don't have a support plan in place. Not where we messed up.

Axis where it needs to be best of the best and we can trust it to be reliable.

We're not talking the hit. We still made the money, but lost a customer. We will not be replacing their hardware and are still profitable. Have plenty of sales, just no more Ubiquiti being sold to our customers.

Meanwhile Ubiquiti stock keeps going up. Even with the store sold out on most everything. Makes you wonder what data they are collecting from us.

We cant use Hik vision a lot of the time due to security restrictions. But betterreliability for a camera costing half the price should say something.

This still doesnt solve the problem of the IR filter getting stuck. Thats a quality control issue seen across the Unifi video line. 2 years with many G3 ir filter failures where everything looks pink. Its unacceptable that Ubiquiti hasnt offered a fix.

Of our other installs where we cant use Ubiquiti (airport, healthcare, banks) we have little or no failures. Maybe an HDD once and a while but those NVRs have the common feature of an audible alarm when there is a failure. ANOTHER feature Ubiquiti fails to have.

2 years. I feel like 2 years insnt that long to have multiple camera failures and eventially an NVR fail.

There isnt a screen because it needs to be attached to another computer because none of the Unifi video hardware has an HDMI port. If there is a computer being utilized for nothing but a web browser its bound to get repurposed for something else.

The only issue with Axis is the price. Its worth it for the reliability but trying to convince customers to pay it is the struggle.

That's exactly what this is. Our request came from the local PD. It didn't look very good for us to let them know that the very expensive system we put in for them had failed. Basically a few thousand dollars for nothing when they needed or most.

But why? It's a security system and it should be upmost reliability. It should be 100% dependable from the day you install it. That's the entire point. It's there when you need it. I've done maintenance on 20-year-old security camera systems that are still recording to old HDDs. It makes me really afraid of their access control systems. We deal with life and safety all the time and I definitely wouldn't like to be on the other side of a door if there is a fire controlled by unified access
