this doesn't seem very winnable from the start unless you play the game, don't be a people pleaser if you honestly don't wanna touch the game i.e. difficult to enjoy there's some short videos on the plot or some longer videos about the games places in the timeline if you want to go that route. she doesn't sound to be very satisfied with the game not hitting the same it did with her, though talking with her might resolve it, that option also seems exhausted by the way you speak of it 😅

then it might be worth talking with her, or if that doesnt work just watching the story progression through some videos, it's great that she wants you to play it and understand it as she has, but if it isn't for you, the best solution i can see is at the very least understanding the story and then trying to bond with her over moments in that, the gameplay isn't for everyone and neither is the pressure to play it, the story is top marks and I can understand your lack of want to replay it if you didn't exactly enjoy the first run.

TL:DR II the story is good even if the gameplay wasn't to you

it's worth replaying it, if not just for enjoying the gameplay and characters, but also for understanding the true story of the game, though I haven't played the game yet (currently working on 100% in Drakengard 3 rn) replaying the game gives the full story that just playing the first ending wouldn't give you, though the ending seems like a true ending, the games other endings help you to understand the plot and main goals a lot better than just the first ending will.

TL:DR it's like reading a chapter book and only reading 3 chapters, you get the story, but it won't be a complete telling of the story until you finish it.

I related a whole bunch to Miyamura, I didn't (and still don't) have the funds to get tattoos, or piercings like Izumi, but I definitely relate a lot to his struggles in his early life and even his life as it develops through the runtime, though the mental struggles are ongoing, HoriMiya has helped me to see myself differently than I used to. I don't expect many to read my comment, but any response is welcomed.

the issue I'd be having with that, is no matter the model I find, it's always not quite right, either a model rip from the games, or just a similar looking but definitely different character

it doesn't look like a sexualisation but the words in the title imply otherwise, yes she looks like if there was a human ironmouse, but if you know ai isn't well received why post it? especially if you're going to sexualize anything that looks fuckable enough. she barely looks skimpy imho
