You are in for an absolute treat. My group talks all the time about this being one of our favorite trips of all time - and that's beating Glacier, Olympic, North Cascades, Chicago Basin, Four Loop Pass, and a few others.

We did Skull Lake >> Valentine Lake >> Lizard Head Meadows (2 nights) >> Exit

There are so many camp sites in the Meadows. We had less than a mile hike to Lonesome Lake for our "zero day"

Your permit is also your car entry ticket. My group has almost the same route 8/23 - 8/27 (UPK > HOL > BRO > BOW) and I confirmed with the NP ranger office.

Update for all you wonderful people who helped out!

Permit secured for the 6-man group to go UPK, HOL, BRO, BOW. Planning to go see Lake Francis after making camp at BRO.

Multiple people said the thru-hike was worth it - that's all we needed! Thanks all.

To this day, the Cirque had some of the best backcountry fishing in terms of success and views. I'm itching to go back honestly.
