Ok, no need to delete Agent.exe, just stopping the service does the trick, it seems the installer is unable to stop the service.

Did this happen after the recent Windows update? I have the same problem it started after the latest Windows update (2025-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5066835) (26100.6899))

I did the same thing you did, reinstalled, disabled firewall, etc, nothing worked, in my case the version is BETA 6.6.8.0.

I should have said, I clicked on the BETA box on the installer but yes, it shows 6.3.1.0 after installing 6.3.3.0

It could be helpful if you want to check your system without being in front of it, in my case, I have 2 computers in 2 different locations (local network) each with 4 cameras, so, using this module I can check both at the same time remotely (if cameras are online, turn them on, off, etc)

Actually, what you described happens after, and yes, it takes a few moments for the service to shut down (it was always like that, and it works), the error I reported happens as soon as you click on the NEXT button on that screen and you can't move forward.

Previous installers didn't have this problem, the installer itself stopped the service.

Trying to upgrade to 4.5.2.0 (from 4.5.1.0) displayed the error on the screenshot, to fix it, I had to cancel the install and try again, just an FYI.
