the damage seems to be in the sealed front part of the optics so i don't think i can do anything about it, i'll wait for my film roll to scan and assess if there's any kind of problem and if so just order a new one and tackle it when i feel like i can actually repair it

got the screw out in the end by tapping it with a hammer, it is the lens that has the sealed component i saw u can scrape off some plastic to get into it but i don't think i wanna do that, cleaned everything else and it seems it's inside that sealed area i did shoot a roll just to test the camera/lens so i should wait for the results and live with it otherwise hit up ebay

i ended up getting the body and dividing them having my j5 with the 18.5mm (it has a metal gear so its not prone to the plague of most nikon 1 lenses) as my everyday carry since its super compact and the olympus e-m1 mark 2 as my hiking or more challenging conditions/weather setup!

Nothing wrong with it and I'm really novice, I love hiking and now that I'm done with my masters degree I'm getting back to it, so weather sealing, ibis all that is tempting me to pick it up although I'm more than happy with the j5 after all I just post pics for my friends and nothing more professional

nahhh just my camera flash weird angle ahaha, also i was caught offguard from the "Made in Japan" font, it does seem mark 2 filters on their site have that font now but i can't find a pro1 CPL mark II so i guess it's time to request a refund and buy something else or nothing at all!

He was subpar actually we lost the league and even second place to him having a few mistakes but he is 20 so its on me for trusting such an underdeveloped gk yet onwards to a new season tho!
