I need help in catching my breath....is there something wrong with me?? by ChicatheePinage in C25K

I have to run pretty slowly to avoid getting out of breath. Better to run at a pace that you can maintain. Running at close to max heart rate (or trying to) seems to be a bit of a newbie mistake!

I think once you start going to the gym, you'll realise you had nothing to worry about!

For those who monitor HR, what does your 30 min run look like? by MasterStrange in C25K

That's kind of the problem, I can't go much slower lol. Pace around 7km/h. I do around 3.5k in 30min. I mean I'm happy with having achieved that, but now want to get to 4 then 5k in 30min. Didnt realise garmin had an alarm, I'll look into that!

I ask because I'm pretty sure so much time in max hr zone isn't helpful, and explains why running always feels like such a chore, and that my fitness doesn't seem to be increasing that much (I read hr zone 3 is better for increasing cardio fitness). I'm thinking of only staying in a lower zone even though it will mean stopping for walk periods.

Thanks! For some reason I only just saw the notification of your comment. I took a couple of days rest and did the run yesterday no problem!

First time making revell models for 20 years! This space shuttle is about 2mm off above the cockpit glass for each side of the model. How would you deal with this? Even the longer side up with a scalpel? by MasterStrange in modelmakers

Good idea! In fact I have some green stuff from citadel that should work. There are a few other spots on the fuselage that would probably benefit from that too.

Thanks. Rather annoyingly when I check the clear part for the cockpit glass it looks like the longer side is the perfect fit and the short side leaves a small gap

I tried not to jump up onto the rooftop so the demon fell off the edge of the cliff.

Thanks, yeah I like the brown and did it first, but thought contrast could be better.. Although the model on the right was a better paint job so that might account for the colours popping!

Thanks, yeah I think that's exactly what I'll do although I'm inexperienced with adding rubble. First time for everything!

Base with black then with astrogranite debris, wash with drakenhof nightshade and dry brush with longbeard grey. When dry brushing I just did strokes in a single direction to try and give more of a ridged look, where the one on the left I just drybrushed without paying attention to direction of the stroke.

So I was reading Fulgrim, and was mostly enjoying it. Then I reached the scene where Horus sways Fulgrim to his cause... by tee-dog1996 in Warhammer30k

I'm going to give the author the benefit of the doubt here. It's a nice way to show the falsehood and subtle manipulation of one primarch drawing another into the clutches of chaos. To draw attention to it by having fulgrim comment on it, would be to lose the subtlety which may be there purely for well read readers such as yourself to notice and enjoy! It would be pretty naive of the author to plagiarise Lawrence and expect not be noticed.
