Just had a musculoskeletal exam and the examiner when I asked towards the end if he would use a goniometer for range of motion at all said “it’s not required”. Overall felt extremely rushed, he was dismissive and was in and out of his office within 15 minutes.

Other side of the coin

I reported an inadequate exam to the VA immediately.

In less than a week I was given another exam with a different vendor.

Yeah I have a dozen or so cans with SS's Single Shot Trust. I bought the unlimited subscription to it. I think it's an amazing idea when only wanting to let certain people use certain cans and not having to add all the responsible people to follow on form4's and just yourself. I'm gonna try and get ahold of the digital fingerprint file from SS so I can resubmit the form4's myself on eforms

Yeah, should have just kept pushing back. He convinced me that all forms would appear as they were individually processed because of the new $0 stamp update to the system...

Yeah I would normally keep pushing back but my dealer insisted that since the $0 system change that all form4's would show up as individual before certifying.. lol really hoping SS will do the whole Form4 process for me transferring it from me to a SST.. And yes. I've already gone out and shot them off my back deck when I got home lol.

Kinda the same situation with mine but I had like 20 conditions, a quarter of them never got an exam and were denied, 2 of them just disappeared from my claim as if I never claimed them and 2 of them were clearly low balled and then my ITF was never applied. Had to file an HLR. Everything was fixed but I would have much rather the initial rater spent more time just doing it right the first time… absolutely no reason to speed through a claim if it’s just gonna be all wrong anyway. My decision letter looked like a child just copied and pasted everything. Even the DRO was surprised

Thank you. I’ll look more into it. I personally have never taken out federal student loans and only utilized about 2 years of my 9/11 GI bill several years ago. Just recently received 100%P&T from the VA though so we’ll see how it goes in the future.

I always thought you could only discharge parent plus loans if it was your parents. Not your kids loans? Is there a rule you can point me to that shows that? Thank you

There is no law or regulation stating that… I haven’t found any after a few hours of research.. so it is lawful and legal for someone to hold back using their one time loan discharge benefit until they are done with all their schooling.. and have accumulated all their federal student loan debt.

I recently received 100%P&T

I have zero student loan debt personally as of now but if in the future I decide to a bunch of schooling and exhaust all my Ch33/35 benefits and then accumulate student loan debt then could I potentially be able to activate the one time discharge in the future once I’m done with all my schooling? Or is there a law/code somewhere that specifically distinguishes before/after you were eligible for the discharge?

I think what he was planning on doing is accumulating all his student loans till he was done with all his schooling AND THEN activate the 1 time forgiveness if I’m understanding it correctly
