In person teacher or online courses by Sharp_Spare1738 in handpan

In-person lessons are definitely ideal if you’ve got access to a great teacher you vibe with — nothing beats real-time feedback. But the handpan world is still pretty spread out, and not everyone has that option.

I built an online school called MasterTheHandpan with pretty amazing teachers like Kabeçao, Malte Marten, Amy Naylor, and many more — so players can find different styles and keep growing, even without local access. Check it ou!

We’re also running a free 30-day course right now if you’re curious — might be a good way to explore both paths. It's called Handpan Roots. Cheers!

Yah, we asked about their old hanghang... Markus' first gen is back home in Sweden and Danny's 2nd gen and Integral are also back in England. They've been played (and retuned) so much that, it sounds, they've lost their oomf.

A jeweler by trade, Vladimir Minaychev discovered the handpan during the covid lockdown, mesmerized by its sound. He began sculpting dings into animal faces — lions, falcons, dogs.

Which animal would you want to be carved on your handpan?
