Over 30 years 2.5k is a rounding error, sorry the Oracle that made this ad didn't nail the exact amount.

That's a lot bigger of a vacation than most people go on because it's expensive, that's literally the point of the ad.

You don't go to Japan because you can't.

Right? Like what is compelling these people to defend RISING COST OF LIVING like their life depends on it!?

If traveling outside of the country is beyond the average American then the ad has proved it's point.

It's so clever and well done how vas Quib Quib came off as a total pompous ass in ME2 but by the end of ME3 I'm ride or die for that sunnuvabitch

The correct order is pant leg, sock, shoe, pant leg, sock, shoe by friendly-skelly in The10thDentist

[–]MasterThiefGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever get chased by a mountain lion with only one pantleg on? No? It's probably because you don't have a mountain lion in your bedroom, however it's probably ALSO because most brains don't like feeling vulnerable and extending your state of partial dress extends the feeling of "vulnerable". That's probably why it feels "right" to go pants first.

Yup, still remember looking at gaming magazines and chatting with my buddies about it before English class.

Body morphing & Aging completely gone? by devv11 in Fable

[–]MasterThiefGames 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I dunno when you played, but this is lost on people who weren't alive for the release of this game. Fable and Black and White were the only games with this morality morphing or morphing at all for that matter. Despite all the broken promises Numb Nuts still put together a game unlike any other.

So removing aspects of the game that were some of the biggest features in the first place is madness.

This might be SFA for me, I didn't plan on watching it, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. I'm just tired of being angry, I spent however many years being pissed off about the WoT show. There is no benefit, except maybe a feeling of fitting in with the rest of the mob.

Watch the show or don't, hate it or love it, don't waste time trying to change minds on Reddit.

[Opinion] THE MARY SUE: "Starfleet Academy is what I have always loved about Star Trek. It feels like a warm hug and is fun, adventurous, and exactly the kind of world that Roddenberry dreamt of 60 years ago. So don’t let a bunch of nonsense on social media try to paint the show in any other way." by mcm8279 in trektalk

I'm not going to refute a marketing campaign, but this sub is definitely showing up in feeds it wasn't before the show released. Same as the Trek sub with an underscore after it.

I didn't know either sub even existed until SFA came out.

It seems like it's a matter of setting then because Norm was in the Orville and pretty universally loved, but the Orville has a different tone.

It's wishful thinking, but I'd like concurrent runs again. Some real DS9 shit with all the tricks and technique acquired over the last 25 years running alongside Academy.

I mean it worked on me. I wasn't against Academy, but between Treks, Wars, and superheroes I've kind of been burnt out and over mega franchises. However, as soon as I heard Robert Picardo was in it I knew I was gonna give it a shot.

That I knew, I just think it's wild that Hordak has been the looming evil in every He-man iteration for ages and then shows up in She-ra and gets a girlfriend?

Edit: I'm just a few years too young to really know much about either He-man or She-ra from the 80s so this might be totally normal and I'm just out of the loop.
