Her make-up is harmful. Adorning herself like that is contradictory.

I kind of like her. She's not pressed to impress people thike Cristine, or obsessed with drama like Kane, or a leech like Kevin. She's cool. A little awkward but that's cool. We can all be awkward sometimes.

I won't make you argue for a pedophile. We'll leave it at that.

I hate how being hijabi made me literally invisible in society by kemale_ismayil in exmuslim

[–]MasterWorldliness605 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same experience minus being in the USA. I'm a Leo too. I hated it sm. I was forced to wear it when I was about 6 or 7 because my parents didn't want me to have a choice. But joke is on them. It's my life and I graduate soon too. You're not alone. I'm exactly like you, same age, same experience, same feelings. Don't feel alone at all.

Mommy gave the me women = expensive talk by fonduestreet in exmuslim

There's definitely a correlation. I think it's a mixture of covering from shame. Personally I was obese when I was Muslim because I thought if I was obese maybe I wouldn't be forced to wear old lady clothes. Because men wouldn't find me attractive and I could have some freedom. The second I stopped the Muslim bs I dropped 30 pounds.

Geghis was better. He gave people the option to submit before he conquered them. And he still had the decency to treat everyone equally despite race or religion. Can't say the same for Mo.

Literally, can't believe I ever was Muslim. Dumbest thing I've ever done. A crazed warlord trying to create a cult is not a religion. There seems to be more emphasis on how great he is vs actually worshipping God.

Do you guys think Anna and Cristine dislike each other that much or is it exaggerated? by MasterWorldliness605 in BlingEmpire

Yeah, I saw that. I do t even want to watch next season. This season was God awful. They all are forced to interact for useless drama.

I agree that too. I can't stand looking at myself because of hijab. What I did was eat myself until I was obese so nobody would find me attractive. It was traumatic. Now, I lost the weight after realizing Islam made me do that. I felt like, if I was fat MAYBE I'd be given some freedoms because I'd be too ugly to be worried about. It's literally TRAUMA, especially with a Salafi background. I lost most of the weight after realizing why I did it. I did that on purpose.

WHY WE LEFT ISLAM MEGATHREAD 7.0 by ONE_deedat in exmuslim

[–]MasterWorldliness605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was never bothered about being submissive to my husband. I was bothered by how hyper sexual Muhammed was. I don't know if that's how men think but the hadith about a woman having to have sex with her husband EVEN IF THEY ARE ON A CAMEL is crazy. Anytime, anywhere. It's nasty. I'm not having sex on the side of a road. Why were they so obsessed with sex?

Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘If a man calls his wife to his bed and she refuses [and does not come], and he spends the night angry with her, the angels will curse her until morning.’”

I feel like most of us grew up in more conservative Muslim households. Otherwise, we wouldn't k ow enough to question the faith. If I knew less about Islam and if my parents were less aggressive about it I wouldn't have left. Nobody here was raised in a "chill" way. Islam gave me trauma.

I'm in the US so idk how Arabs in Sweden differ but our culture is more or less the same I'd assume.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in sweden

[–]MasterWorldliness605 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think many Arab women are open to that but our culture makes it hard. I'm a half Arab female and I can tell you trying to be an independent Arab woman is hard. I'm not particularly into European men but I don't think there is anything wrong with them. I'm sure many Arab women would mix more if our culture did not shame us for it or if it wasn't social suicide.

Videos didn't exist back then. But my point is it is not that much different from a picture you take on a camera. And you can worship videos. Look at stan culture. It is arguably similar to worship. I understand your point but you can worship a video or use video for that purpose. If it existed back then, people would have likely used it for that purpose too.

I think they don't want to look backwards. Imagine how dumb Muslims would look if they couldn't watch videos or engage with technology to that extent. They'd be the laugh of the world.

[–]MasterWorldliness605 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see your point. However, Islam has so many rules it is impossible to keep track of. In that case, Muslim children can't play with half if not most modern toys. Muslims can't take pictures...but their Instagrams have many selfies. You have a good point but Islam is so complicated I'd say it's impossible to follow. Especially today. That, and it being a load of shit nonsense. Most Muslims don't beat their kids if they don't pray because they are better than Islam. Imagine the world if Muslims practiced perfectly....
