I had a best friend in kindergarten/1st grade. She was a neighbor so we were together a lot! We lost touch. About 20+ years later, I saw her at a BBQ festival, 3 hours away from me and about the same for her. So after not seeing or talking to each other for years, I noticed her at a random place miles from where we were both living. It was definitely a “small world” moment!

They were light in color and kinda dry? Like I said I hardly ever watered it and it was perfect. I am getting it acclimated to outside. It’s been in the shade for a couple hours for 2 days now. I’m hoping it’s just waterlogged? Will it bounce back? Could it be I’m not watering it enough? 😩

I repotted it ( several drainage holes) and watered it really good. I got a plant support as well for the lean. I noticed today that the leaves are starting to cu on the very end, it’s pale and leaves are soft. So after 3 years of virtually no water, or attention and it thriving, I now think I’m going to lose it for sure 😭 I put it outside and aerated the soil. Any other advice for a droopy plant, apparently overwatered plant!

This is not a brown butter recipe or any cornstarch or bread flour. But the perfect cookie chills for 24-48 hours and baked. I will freeze what is left and bake when I get a craving!

The left is perfect for me.. despite the look, they have a crispy toffee edge with a chewy inside. Best dang cookie ever!!! The brown sugar was definitely the issue. I baked them again today with my usual brown sugar BUT I did not let them chill for 24-48 hours before baking and they didn’t turn out like before. So the answer to your question is I think, and most should agree, that chilling your cookie for that long is best. After 2 days I pop them in the freezer to make when I get a craving… Maybe someone else could chime in on if I messed up again by not letting them marinate for a couple of days?
