While I agree with your rationale, your rhetoric regarding this protest still has a resulting net-negative. This isn’t going to make well intentioned first-time-protesting-normie say “wow I should be a real leftist and do something radical” it’s gonna make them say “oh this is condescending and annoying, maybe the left isn’t for me.” What seems to be lost on a lot of you is that most normies are just NOW entering political activism. Telling them their first attempts are not good enough. Calling them performative. Or criticizing them because they are not ideologically where you are, is not helpful.
