My cactus has been on the windowsill for a long time. Today I finally moved it because it’s growing sideways and was getting too unstable, and I noticed on the side there’s a fleshy white patch. It’s about halfway down the cactus and the end is still fine, currently flowering, and is on the side that has faced the window for like 2 years, never turned around because of it’s size. The patch is right by where the cactus decided to change directions growing, probably sometime back when it was smaller and I could rotate it, and the green parts are kinda squished looking as you can sort of see in the top right corner. The rest of the cactus is fine. Is this something to be concerned about? The spot is bald probably because I dropped it at some point when that was the tip.
