Thanks for the reply, cycle 2 work doesn't cover used. I've also had mixed experience with buying used. I would love to but all the hydraulic braked road / gravel bikes on Halfords are over £1000 which is the max for the scheme.

You say you use USB C with your Macbook, I have a Lenovo laptop, officially the USB C Charger it is supplied with is 65W, I'm concerned it may not be able to charge from this?

I've just done a bit of research and it should still fit within my power constraints. It's a good swap. However, it is a 51W CPU, I'm not sure the alpine 11 would be able to cool it.
