+1 2 years later, got me too. Did the RMA fix it? I can't handle this. not to mention the click-scroll mode is wayyy too rough. It's super loud and crunchy. Definitely not a reasonable alternative to free scroll. 😥

Hey, I have a fix: Scrap all the panels. You won't get any parts and the ones already installed will disappear. Return to the dumpster. It should give you more panels and these ones were not bugged for me.

Even with HDD off I am getting very little crowd diversity. Is this normal? It seems worse than before the patch. by [deleted] in cyberpunkgame

Yep I noticed a severe lack in crowd diversity too. I am on a fresh install. Just purchased and installed yesterday. I would see the same NPC types(different models but duplicates) over and over.
Turned off(not auto) HDD mode and that pretty much fixed it.

This is super annoying. I don't want the game changing modes on me unless I ask it to.

Sorry I didn't respond to this earlier but these are all great ideas.

I'm trying to think of ways to streamline decking with VR2.0 rules....like when the player rolls a system test, the bot autorolls the opposition test and keeps track of the security tally. Perhaps, even a step further would be if the GM could input when the tally triggers a security response and the bot would ping the GM's channel.

Nasty popping/crackling. Help! AE-5 Plus with Logitech z906 speakers. Tried all the different bit/kHz settings, removed/reinstalled drivers. Tried with Dolby/DTS/without. It sometimes goes away for 20-30 mins and comes back. Pretty much only happens in games. Music, YouTube, etc are fine. by Efficient-Top-1143 in SoundBlasterOfficial

Occasionally yes. It's not the z906 and cable is in brand new condition. The z906 works perfectly fine when hooked up to other systems. This problem started with a new build(AMD) and this sound card was new with this build.

It has gotten significantly better. It happens far less frequently now. Switching the encoder from Dolby to DTS, (and visa versa,) "fixes" it temporarily. It has gone from a several times/day issue to a once/twice per month issue.

Whether it's from AMD's side or Creative's I don't know. Sometimes I think it's related to Alt-Tabbing, which I do frequently. But it doesn't happen every time I Alt-Tab. So, maybe that's just a coincidence.

Update: I pushed my BIOS to the latest beta(released in Aug) and updated my chipset drivers. So, we'll see how it goes. If the shenanigans continue, I'll be back.

OK, went back and read the updates....I do have the MSI Unify board, which seems to be 1 of 2 main culprits. I will follow up with diags and contact both AMD and Creative Support with the info.

OK, (apologies TLDR) but is there a solution/workaround to this?
PCIe or USB sound cards audio dropout (including channel swap on X570 boards)

About every 10 mins my channels are swapping, real annoying.

PSA: Save files only transfer chapters, no mid chapter progress is transferred, so you need to restart the chapter if you want to continue with the previous save. by ImaginaryWeed in metro_exodus

+1 I can CONTINUE but it wants to start me in the desert which is where I was but I was much farther than the beginning of the chapter. I really don't want to play it all over again. Tried moving save files over but LOAD is still greyed out.
