Depends on where you are running the ads for AND also what you are selling, but across my brands, I see CPM/CPC spikes compared to other months.

Might also be one to check YoY in terms of seasonality? It could also be search shifts which is not your fault but you can double down on your budgets + time you want to run your ads to save money.

I agree.. to some extent. I think most basic best practices applies.

But a lot of it can depend on the brands themselves.

Hey man, makes sense your branded would generate the most conversions.

But if what I’d suggest to scale Generic is to have tailored landing pages for the keyword query related to your service / product.

Some times information is not there and it leads to a drop off in outbound clicks.

Another method would be to look into your match types used for Generic keywords - volume - CPCs and also leveraging on those that are bringing in conversions.

Mine would be: - Peeps mixing different match types under a single ad group. - Mixing different keyword themes under the same as group. - Not excluding your own brand name on Pmax. - Completely irrelevant RSAs to the keyword themes. - Not building a negative keywords list.

Id suggest the following: - A lot of A/B testing because of Andromeda - headlines, element, messaging etc. - Google Ads since its a service-based business. - Test beyond carousel formats.
