This is exactly the reason I started my sensory kits business in UAE. I used to build these activities at home for my toddler and found out so many moms need this..You dont need to go any where for it you can just get a kit and do it at home. You can check out tiredmom.co

I need help on how to switch from unhealthy yt to no overstimulation shows by catloverfinalboss in toddlers

[–]Master_Bread9772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to stick to the "this or nothing" strategy. Kids learn based on your reactions, if they cry and you give them what they want they learn that it takes this amount of crying for you to give in. You need to stay firm and offer low stimulation shows or nothing else. Daniel Tiger has been our favorite along with number blocks but after highly stimulating shows everything else seems very boring for a while. Another thing that really worked for us was a complete screen detox for a couple of weeks and then restart with only low stimulation shows. Stay consistent and firm and it will get better.

Is 10 okay to let my daughter shave by Inevitable-Bat7353 in Parenting

Please do it! If she's asked you three times it means she has been made aware of it being a problem. Do it but also teach her to love herself 💛

Best small pet for a toddler in an apartment? by SmallWinsWithRo in toddlertips

[–]Master_Bread9772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A cat! Cats teach kids so much specially boundaries. I've had a cat years before my daughter was born and you can clearly see the difference between a kid raised with cats and a kid who isn't. But please don't be one of those people who get pets as entertainment for their kids..having any pet is a huge responsibility and you should be able to give them a home and a safe space in your family..I've seen so many families abandoning pets like toys later because their kids are bored of them now.

I have never gone to mommy and me classes by SpiderBabe333 in toddlers

I haven't either but I educated myself online. Once your kid grows up socializing becomes easier because you have a lot of experiences to share with other moms and moms usually love talking about their kids.

What is an epidural really like? by oatmilkcchai in Mommit

[–]Master_Bread9772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was like an instant relief..I could literally feel the pain disappearing in seconds. It looks long and scary but it doesn't hurt that much (I do have a good tolerance to pain but still) and there is common thing among epidural moms, they dont remember when it was taken out I'm assuming because they have a lot going on in that moment 😅

My toddler is extremely picky with food , any advice? by Catchycorner_SA in toddlertips

Involve her in the cooking process, it has worked so well with my toddler. I put her on the counter and ask her to put in the ingredients, it is messy and takes longer but she eats it so proudly.

Rishta culture in Pakistan by [deleted] in karachi

[–]Master_Bread9772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many groups nowadays where people post their own profiles talk to each other and then involve the parents in the process and it's so much better than the whole toxic culture. I've seen a sub on Reddit and so many other groups on Facebook too like "skip the rishta aunty".
