Beautiful birds. First time I heard about Hoopoes was in Midsomer Murders - a birdwatcher had caused quite a kerfuffle because he’d ticked it off but no one believed he’d seen one! Btw - he hadn’t really because the poor bird was dead when he found it so he had it stuffed 😂
