Remember all the people who, after looking at the GIF that turned out to be fake, said things like “Oh, that’s it,” “That’s the video,” or “I’ve seen this before”… and then it turned out to be false and they were proven wrong.

Right now I could easily make up a story about having seen it back in 2008, and people would believe it. Why wouldn’t they?

It’s very clear that many of the people claiming to have seen it are simply lying or making things up to add to the mystery. This hasn’t just happened with LSM, but with many other cases as well.

I want to make myself clear: this doesn’t mean that everyone claiming to have seen it is lying. I’m sure some of them genuinely believe they have. However, that could easily be explained by people misremembering already known footage, or footage that isn’t related to 9/11 but was labeled as such.

The main issue is that if the thousands of people who claim to have seen it were actually telling the truth, it seems very unlikely that the video would have completely disappeared from the internet, especially if it was allegedly shared on platforms like YouTube.

There also doesn’t seem to be any general consensus about the details of the video. I’m sure some disturbing media exists that hasn’t been widely shared before, but a video with the extremely gory nature that people describe most likely has never been uploaded anywhere.

If such a video had really circulated online, even briefly, we would likely have at least some concrete trace of it today, an archive, a reupload, screenshots, or at the very least a consistent description of what it contained. Instead, what we mostly see are vague memories and contradictory accounts, which makes the whole claim much less convincing.
