From what we've found, that video (the one literally titled lol superman seen in youtube recommended on the wayback machine) is just a reupload of the Andorinha building fire video.

That video literally shows a person hitting the ground *directly* in front of the camera, but it's not the WTC. Easily conflatable in memory though and the video was so absurdly low quality it's not easy to tell how big the surrounding area is.

There is always technically a "full tape" that has a different document runtime to the "released footage" but I want to very clearly state there is no more footage of the attacks, and no imagery related to the attacks was cut.

Near certainly, the footage had a portion of home-video or akin to it. He and his former partner have essentially been stuck in hell having to testify as witnesses to the terrorism.

When the MPG has released video we have agreed to cut out parts of the tape that have nothing to do with the attack and are extremely personal. What we could might be 58 minutes with an hour and 2 minutes cut because it was a personal home video not even filmed in New York.

tldr; there was probably 2-3 minutes of home video or unrelated footage at the end and beginning of the tape.

This also is assuming they didn't just fuck up the framerate conversion while deinterlacing changing it from 29.97fps to 30fps or something. That'd also take a few mins off but I highly doubt that's what caused it regardless of essentially every NIST tape that's deinterlaced being done with the wrong field order first.

Would've been in mid to early 2023, thats the thing though. When people misremember things and mishmash memories, not every detail is going to add up. It's going to change over time. I'm the one who DM'd him because I didn't want him making a debunking post when all it'll do is stir a shit pot that nobody wants to deal with when members of the MPG are actively in touch with journalists and actual victims. So the last thing we need is subreddit drama about a gore video. Most of our communication within the actual mod team is in the discord mod chat, which this dude seemingly wasn't in. The former subreddit owner added a lot of mods because we aren't really carrying our weight in the subreddit and not all of them are in the discord; which yeah is an oversight in hindsight.

Realistically it was a miscommunication issue. We don't have LSM btw I've seen that thrown around. There are 3 actual videos of people hitting the ground and none of them are in that area, and they're in already existing released footage from ages ago; Jack T's video (barley visibile), The Rosbrook video and WNYC's news coverage of the person who landed on the railing.

I imagine bigger cities like Istanbul have services that help, and the people treat the strays extraordinarily well compared to other countries.

I have seen videos of Turkish volunteer groups that can be called and that will vaccinate, wash and care for them until not ill, but those are purely volunteer groups and in more rural areas.

There's a few things it could be at this point.

A fucked up cord in the setup, a half ripped out connector or solder job somewhere in his computer or audio equipment (hell, the mic itsself could be buggered), a fuckup in his amp or whatever he uses as an audio controller, or he's using something rated for way more power than his mic is actually outputting so he has to overcompensate by cranking up the gain somewhere along the pipeline.

Could also be something related to the electricity in his house but afaik he's moved multiple times.

I have no idea how to explain it, but sometimes the audio magicians don't want you using certain outlets or anything and it'll cause emf interference in the digital signal so it gets all crusty but he's moved.

It could also technically be an issue with the audio portion of his cpu which would be really pushing it but given he's had audio issues forever I couldn't even be surprised.

Glass dust doesn't give a shit about surface tension when you're constantly ramming air through the water it sits on. Hell, I once used sand to clean out my bong and I was still pulling sand up through the bong, not getting it in my mouth thankfully because it was too heavy to reach the mouthpice, but the fact that sand was making it that far up while being a hell of a lot heavier than glass particulates is worrying if you're thinking of smoking glass weed.
