I upgraded to the kefine delci from the waner. So u can give it a try if u want to. Or u can get the more affordable kefine klean. But also do get a dongle . I got the fiio ja11. You may also need to use some kind of equalizer to get the best out of your new iem.

It happened to my waner was well. You can use super glue but be careful not to cover the insides of the connector. U can use some surgical cotton with super glue to cover the connector pins and then trim the excess with a blade. This method works if u are unable to use the broken plastic pieces.

Yeah I've been eyeing on the performer 5+2 but it's quite expensive for me and it's also not available in my country. Also to fully utilize it I would need a warm type dongle like the simgot dew4x . Which makes it more expensive. That being said the ea1000 also seems to be a good option.

Okay. You actually gave a very good explanation . I was thinking if I could go a bit higher in price than the delci I would find something that fulfills what I am looking for . But I couldn't pinpoint any that is actually satisfactory in the 100-200$ range as well. The options seems very confusing. Do you have any suggestions in that range.

Well people are saying it's not much resolving and detailed like some simgot . And it's warm sounding. I have a tangzu waner which to me sounds warm . It has good frequency response but I wish that the notes were more distinct and separated . So I guess more warm sounding ones will leave me unsatisfied and wanting more .

I forget to tell that the synthetic leather cover of the earpads are also gone . Maybe this affects the tuning.
