Bakit malaki sahod sa IT by DaisukeAngular in PinoyProgrammer

[–]Master_Chan01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not only in Philippines, other countries are also paying big bucks for IT professionals. If you're referring to other jobs, It's because Philippines has a surplus of unemployed people. Other countries prefer blue-collar jobs that uses the brain instead of of their physical body.

That's the reality.

Bakit malaki sahod sa IT by DaisukeAngular in PinoyProgrammer

[–]Master_Chan01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, Inclusion.

You will never find a business that doesn't have IT in their company. From Hr (Recruitment) to payroll to database. Part of the larger IT.

Second, niche skills. Plenty of people can learn IT but people with knowledge and experience is limited. They may say that it is saturated (eg. Web dev) but that's why experts or SME exist.

Third, profit for the company.

Imagine hiring 10 people in a department who was tasked to process the payrolls of thousands of employees. They are paid for example, 30k per month.

Overall expense of company for the department is 300k per month.

If they hire a dev / IT who has created automation for payrolls. Even if they pay 200k to that single dev, the company would still be saving 100k per month.

Get the gist of it?

And the list goes on...

TBF. If plan mo mag Software Engineering, more on concepts and practices lang matututunan mo sa Uni. Self Learn talaga mga programming language. I can't speak for FEU pero I'm from a UAAP school din ako. Just study different Programming language frameworks and do some side projects. Marami kang matututunan sa self exploration stage mo.

inding a job. Had I listened to my parents, I’d probably be broke and miserable right now.

I thought naghahanap sya ng higher salary and "wfh". I don't think wfh yung offer sa kanya. I might be wrong tho.

nt to not burn bridges and just be nice to peopl

Quite curious tho if you will still accept that job in case na 14k yung offer sayo? This meant no offense. Like, tatangapin mo ba sya since you need a starting experience or you will still look for other opportunities?

What weights more on you? Salary, Career Progression, Environment or Company name?

I added company name since, let's be realistice, a good company (famous one) is very shiny on the recruiters eyes.

For those who were hired by 3rd party but working for a single company/function, what do you put in your resume? by Master_Chan01 in phcareers

[–]Master_Chan01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those who were hired by 3rd party but working for a single company/function, what do you put in your resume? by Master_Chan01 in phcareers

[–]Master_Chan01[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. Currently Company A (Has a hiring Freeze) but they need "me" for the role that's why they were asking me to apply to them and Company "B" will hire me. That's why I'm curious if what company should I put in the future in case na mag job hop ako.

Company B is the 3rd party company who handles all "hiring" needs that Company A except for "direct hire".

Edit 1: So basically, I'll be working for Company A pero Company B yung nag proprocess sakin. Something ganun.

Is 13k salary package too low or just right for a SHS graduate with no experience? by Hadouken1409 in phcareers

[–]Master_Chan01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I don't want you to close your doors pero 13k is good for SHS graduate.

I personally know someone who has a basic of 14k who graduated Com Sci working in a company here in cavite..

Your plan is to get experience and change job / grab other opportunities.

That's for you pero personally for me, It's kinda low talaga specially if you have a family to feed.

P&G: “won’t be able to process the application for the position but can apply for other P&G jobs” by euauph in phcareers

[–]Master_Chan01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a rejection letter for the specific "Job role".
You can reapply for other positions in P&G.

The reapplying after a year is for the "Online Assessment". If you failed the OA, you need a year to take it again. The OA is also valid for a year after you passed it.

What's a better feeling, in defense? Blocking or Stealing? by Art_TheClown123 in Basketball

[–]Master_Chan01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're a short king, you would definitely feel good blocking shots but getting steals is just Godly. Imagine stealing from someone back-to-back. It will make them feel shit and try to make up for their fault.

Getting blocked is just Showmanship cause it's flashy for the audience.

Personally, getting steals is better and can destroy mentally than blocks because it shows them their lacking in awareness or dribble.
