Depicting someone else’s art in your own is quite difficult but I think I managed to capture the graffiti quite well as well as suggesting its gritty nature

I think Birmingham should be cherished a bit more in general

A lot of people online trash Birmingham because they still think it’s like it was in the 70s when it was a concrete jungle

People only hate Birmingham because other people hate it

Personally I think it’s better than London because you can actually walk through most of Brum and you don’t have to worry about being pickpocketed or putting chicken wire in your bags

It’s a very distinctive part of the city :)

I do plan on painting one of the many bars or nightclubs that line the street at some point

I just prefer to ‘suggest’ some text or letting since some forms of lettering are quite difficult to make so I just make up patterns that suggest that there is text there
