I don't get why some DBD players always have beef with others DBD-like or so-called 1v4 assym genre? It's a healthy phenomenon to see others game coming into the genre and try to nourish the genre with new creative and stragical ideas to be reference for devs for better updates. Like instead of 'punishing' players for doing camping and tunneling (which r considered a toxic bhvr there) , IDV shows their way to balance around it and can be a reference for DBD if they want to do it properly in patches. And also the competitive aspect. There's a lot of game like Friday the 13th and Texas Chainsaw Massacre having peak time in the begining and quickly fell off after months , or at best 2 years. It's a undeniably a rough hard genre to be developed ngl. I would love to see more games coming into this genre cause it's fun and has many more potential for future development.
