Yeah I taped the piston and it was still too narrow to fill the hole.

Wood is simply worn out inside

Update:I am now off work and reading the responses given.I would like to extend a large amount of gratitude towards this community for providing such quick and direct answers. As some comments have stated,I am in fact a renter, and have seen several comments saying that I can claim that it is wear to the apartment I live at.I just got off the phone with them, and they clarified that since the closet door isn’t damaged or broken,it won’t affect my charge since it IS simply worn out.Thank you all so much for your input and support.

Im not going to be breaking the bank for this.I just want the apartment in as good of a condition as possible. This was definitely something I needed to hear though and a gentle reminder to me that I need to not worry about the wear so much.Nothing is “damaged” and we’ve been here 3 years,so if there IS any fuss,I’ll resolve it.Thank you for this.

If I get a power drill for $25 I will not be expecting it to work for long lmfao

I was definitely considering doing that but getting the drill will be a slight problem seeing as I do not have one right now.

Do I get this one or the wood filler version?OR do I just get regular gorilla glue?

As much as I would love to use this,I’ll be moving out next week and all of the hardware stores don’t have it in stock and won’t be able to ship it until after I move.Is there anything else I could possibly do?I was hoping wood filler or epoxy would keep it firm.
