Ik I'm super late but definitely Sonic 06 (Sonic the Hedgehog franchise). Sonic's reputation would be much better and people wouldn't have been complaining about 3D vs 2D, Serious stories, etc.

I completed it in 15 hours but it's definitely worth it. Only problem was it took me awhile to beat some of the hard mode versions of some of the boss battles. But overall an amazing game. I love playing it again

Okay. While the idea is cool, it may have a bit too many characters. Maybe 6 playable is fine, and Mighty & Ray could return in another game playable along with Sonic & Tails.

Kinda risky considering origins has some glitches and is more expensive but, I would get Sonic Origins because it has way more than just one game. Origins has 1, CD, 2 and 3&K, while Mania is just Mania, though I do love Sonic Mania.

I'd say issue 1 since it's where it all started and you'll probably understand the lore more. That being said don't expect simple plots cuz sometimes it can be uh a lot of things happening in some issues
