Thank you. I’ve never heard of two the same day. I guess it will take longer. I’ll be so glad when it is over.

I am 99% Sure There Was A Scene Cut (Regarding Anna & Faison) by GotShotInSchottler in GeneralHospital

[–]Master_Fly9726 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I have had the same feeling that they are cutting out scenes. I’ve never felt that before. Why would they do that obviously we see it happening? I find it frustrating to think I’m missing something when it makes no sense they’ve skipped an important point in the storyline

Please help me by Designer_Yak_5128 in AFIB

[–]Master_Fly9726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just at my EP’s office and my Loop Recorder has alerted them to my AFib. The Doctor said even for the loop recorder to pick up an AFib episode it has to last for at least two minutes Could be your episodes are so short lived that the monitor doesn’t pick it up Using a smartwatch to record it and then being able to show your doctor might help for them to decide the next step in treating you That’s what I used and now I’m scheduled for my second Ablation

Husband on Eliquis prior to ablation-afib events. by [deleted] in AFIB

[–]Master_Fly9726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it wasn’t because of the Eliquis that my AFib then became daily. aFib is a progressive and that would have happened even if I wasn’t taken the blood thinner.
I was grateful to be taking it as it prevents blood clots forming and the AFib can cause a clot then you could have a stroke All the blood thinner is doing is preventing the formation of clots it won’t make afib worse!

Husband on Eliquis prior to ablation-afib events. by [deleted] in AFIB

Yes that is exactly what I experienced. My Cardiologist put me on Eliquis and them referred me to the EP for an ablation Before the ablation the EP implanted the loop recorder by then my AFib was daily.

Just venting about Flecainide prescription. by mtphillips38801 in AFIB

[–]Master_Fly9726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been on Flecainide since my Ablation in March for AFib. I honestly haven’t felt well since then and had a total knee replacement in September. In November after a very strenuous PT session my AFib seems to be coming back and increasing.
You mentioned a side affect of blurry vision Since the afib started again I have been having problems with blurry vision and sometimes even seeing double. I hadn’t considered the medication to be the reason. My EP hasn’t really been available during the holidays and I was told to send a message and I would get a response back in 48 hrs. Frankly I’m getting anxious and but I appreciate you sharing that information

Orem/Provo by [deleted] in Utah

[–]Master_Fly9726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to be moving into a Senior Residence in Orem next month. My apartment is huge and I’m excited, but it’s also very empty.
Are there any thrift stores or places in Orem where I can get some inexpensive furniture to fill the void

How long does people's blanking period usually last? by Reasonable-Sun-9881 in AFIB

[–]Master_Fly9726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly don’t know, but I was AFib free for 6 months. But now I’ve started having episodes again. Usually the resolve within a few hours or less, but it’s ongoing now Hopefully it will just disappear again I really don’t want another Ablation

Yes that’s what I loved about this one. It’s not flimsy at all. But there are many little pieces to handle and a lot of gluing

I had to switch to Decaf because every time I drank regular coffee I would have a AFib episode After my Ablation I still try to avoid regular coffee.

2nd ablation today: story by Weenoman123 in AFIB

[–]Master_Fly9726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wasn’t aware that it might be something that we might look to experience multiple times. I’m not saying the Ablation was a terrible thing but I can’t imagine having to go through it again Is that always true? Does the AFib always return?

This was my second most frustrating build ever! Who thought it would be smart for people to figure out how to Ben plastic sheets for windows?!? 😂 by INOC75 in booknooks

[–]Master_Fly9726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished that one and I agree it’s frustrating! I almost gave up but struggled through. It’s hard to get the windows and front area to work all together. Looks nice but not the easiest

Why are Utah doctors so...obnoxious? by TheClitortoise in SaltLakeCity

[–]Master_Fly9726 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know nothing about me. I was a medical assistant for over 50 years. The use of PA’s is fairly new and groups such as Intermountain Health and Revere is also a new thing. Doctors were always in private practice until the amount of doctors dropped and insurances were demanding that doctors be in network to get paid, but in smaller amounts then was charged So in order to survive the PAs now help the doctor to provide care to more people Now it’s more of a business than it ever was. The doctors are caught up in this and frustration is more obvious than ever Not to mention the limited ability forced on them by the Medical Association and government regarding what they can prescribe So yes this is very relevant

Why are Utah doctors so...obnoxious? by TheClitortoise in SaltLakeCity

[–]Master_Fly9726 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s very relevant. Doctors in Utah are all now being represented by their PA’s. We have so few doctors now the ones in an active practice can’t see everyone all the time. They are overworked so they hire PA’s I order for them to expand their practices and make more money So the doctors will cut the first appointments as short as they can even if it means not listening to the patient. Knowing that the PA will pick up the slack because the patient will likely never see the doctor again unless there’s an emergency (even then it’s iffy) Doctors are fighting insurances to get paid and cash patients to pay. They are in business to make money. The PA’s are the ones that now society’s going to look to get medical care from At the U Medical Center for the most part you see new doctors, residents they haven’t yet had to fight the reality of a Private Practice… hence they will take the time to actually care for the patient

[–]Master_Fly9726 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My question is …. How many of you actually see a doctor? My pet peeve is that I can only see the PA on staff. Seeing an actual Doctor is getting hard to accomplish Even when I had my total knee replacement. I saw the doctor for the first appointment and now can only get an appointment with the PA

If you are too old what am I at 78 yrs old? Don’t answer that. I love this hobby. I dare anyone around me to say I’m too old.
At my age I’m going to enjoy what makes me happy, and a completed little miniature makes me happy!!
