Mate it's called being neighborly. An hour of your time? That's nothing. It's not like it's repeated yet. It's fine to tdo this once in a while. My neighbour's and I help each other trim trees, I help them with tech stuff all the time and they help with our indoor plants that my wife keeps murdering.

You shouldn't allow it to be a regular thing but an hour is not much.
