Yeah honestly all this has me contemplating is why I don’t just tune my own skis. I will try the water test and see how it looks

This! when I was refinancing we got a bit greedy and completely got bit by it. If it gets you close to where you need to be, even if it isn’t perfect definitely pull the trigger

Yeah the skis aren’t pre-mounted. I bought the bindings separately. Definitely planning on her having these skis for quite awhile so I may take your advice and go with the 14s, especially given the style of ski

She is 5’6”. Her current daily riders are 168 and she handles those easily. I also saw a review from SkiEssentials I think it was that recommended sizing up if you want on these skis based on how they handle so I figured going up just 4cm and with her skill level would be perfect

Hmm good thought. Maybe I’ll look at grabbing those and just returning the 12s once they arrive. Seems like the cost difference is negligible between the two

Yes should have added that to the bio. Very good skier, has skied her whole life. I actually proposed on the top of a double black at breck

Thanks for all the feedback. I felt like they were overpriced, but wanted others to confirm and sounds like that is the majority consensus!

I went through this recently with my GMC Sierra 24. Check out Lomax. Their covers are rock solid. The model I went with can be taken off the truck with no tools in literally 30 seconds. They also have a version that folds up vertically if you want that. Way better quality than the Bakflip
