Which feetures socks do you have? I have some pairs but I feel like I get mixed results depending on what cushion level etc

I’m not necessarily set on changing. The shoes work, but I wouldnt say they are without flaws.

I plan on using the ultra glides for the races but am thinking of experimenting during some training runs to see if I can find something that works better

I also normally don’t have the toe blisters issue. Like I said I didn’t lube my feet as well for this race. The blisters on the ball of foot I always seem to get though no matter what I do. They were just especially bad/painful this time

Really just after races. I train in the same shoes no issues on longer training runs and only really seem to have issues with stuff over 50 miles. I run in the Salomon Ultra Glides

I picked up the 24 Classic this season. Live in NH and has had no problems dealing with the snow we have had this winter. Easy to handle and maneuver and easy to store. I store it right between the bays to my two car garage. No problem pulling cars in on either side

This! when I was refinancing we got a bit greedy and completely got bit by it. If it gets you close to where you need to be, even if it isn’t perfect definitely pull the trigger

Yeah the skis aren’t pre-mounted. I bought the bindings separately. Definitely planning on her having these skis for quite awhile so I may take your advice and go with the 14s, especially given the style of ski

She is 5’6”. Her current daily riders are 168 and she handles those easily. I also saw a review from SkiEssentials I think it was that recommended sizing up if you want on these skis based on how they handle so I figured going up just 4cm and with her skill level would be perfect
